Frequently asked questions
Therapy is a collaborative and supportive space where you can explore challenges, patterns, emotions, and goals without judgment. In couples therapy, sessions often focus on improving communication, rebuilding connection, understanding one another more deeply, and working through conflict in healthier ways. Rather than assigning blame, the goal is to help both partners feel heard, understood, and better equipped to navigate difficulties together.
Some sessions may feel more reflective and insight-oriented, while others may focus on practical tools and strategies you can apply outside of therapy. At times therapy can feel emotional or uncomfortable, especially when discussing painful experiences or recurring relationship patterns, but growth often comes through those conversations. The pace and focus of therapy will be tailored to your unique needs and goals.
